The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) Foundation today announced that Moses Moody, NBA Champion with the Golden State Warriors, and Santi Aldama, current Memphis Grizzlies player and member of the Spanish Menās National Team, have joined its Board of Directors.Ā Ā
Moody and Aldama will join a dedicated team that provides strategic oversight on the work of the NBPA Foundation to deliver philanthropic resources for current and former NBA players. In their roles, Moody and Aldama will serve as advisors to the NBPA Foundation's global programs, approve grant funding, and identify new opportunities for the Foundation to support players' social impact work around the world.Ā Ā

Moses Moody, who was drafted in 2001, won a championship with the Golden State Warriors in his rookie season. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Moody remains deeply involved in his hometown. In 2023, he founded the Motivate One Foundation to support and inspire youth towards a brighter future. Last year, Moody also served as a Basketball Without Borders camp coach in South Africa, leading basketball instruction and imparting life lessons to young athletes.Ā Ā
Santi Aldama has been in the league for the past four years with the Memphis Grizzlies and joins the board with extensive social impact experience both domestically and internationally. Born inĀ Gran Canaria, Spain, Aldama actively leads youth development initiatives in his hometown, including Campus Santi Aldama. This annual camp offers young athletes aged 6-17 the opportunity to develop basketball skills and learn the fundamentals of teamwork.Ā Ā
