
DLR Group announced Ryan Oppelt as associate and sports business development leader. Based in the firm’s San Francisco office, Oppelt connects professional sports organizations, owners, and other key stakeholders with the firm’s design professionals to deliver championship-caliber, fan-centered venue and facilities design.

For nearly 30 years, Oppelt has driven connections across the sports and entertainment industry. He was a stalwart relationship builder at Oracle Park and Levi’s Stadium for nearly two decades, collaborating with the San Francisco Giants, 49ers, the College Football Playoff, and the San Francisco Bowl Game. Most recently Oppelt was at the center of changing landscape of collegiate athletics serving as executive director of the name, image, and likeness fundraising collective for the University of San Francisco.
A University of Oregon grad, Oppelt leverages his professional experience and passion to create relevant, meaningful relationships with clients and partners. DLR Group and Oppelt remain at the forefront of industry thought leadership with involvement in organizations like the Stadium Managers Association, International Association of Venue Managers, and Association of Luxury Suites Directors.
