As the world's largest sporting event united billions of fans across the globe, Britten proudly helped bring the FIFA World Cup 2026™ to life through large-scale event fabrication, branded environments, and experiential marketing installations supporting one of the most ambitious sporting events ever produced.
Serving as the event production partner for the tournament's Volunteer Centers while contributing to 22 FIFA World Cup 2026™ projects, Britten partnered with agencies, event organizers, and global brands to fabricate immersive environments spanning 16 host cities across three countries. During the tournament, Britten’s work could be found at all 16 FIFA World Cup stadiums, supporting volunteers, fans, sponsors, media, and hospitality guests throughout the tournament.
From Volunteer Centers and venue branding to sponsor activations, hospitality suites, experiential marketing installations, wayfinding, scenic fabrication, and custom-built environments, Britten's work touched nearly every aspect of the fan journey. More than 120,000 prospective volunteers visited one of the 16 Volunteer Centers produced by Britten, while an estimated 2.2 million fans will experience FIFA Fan Villages featuring products fabricated and installed by the company. Britten also branded hospitality environments expected to welcome between 750,000 and one million guests during the tournament.
"The FIFA World Cup represents one of the most complex event productions on the planet," said Paul Britten Jr., Executive Vice President. "To contribute to an event of this scale is an incredible honor. We're proud of our team's ability to partner with world-class agencies and brands, delivering exceptional craftsmanship, creative problem solving, and flawless execution under demanding timelines."
Supporting an event of this magnitude required seamless collaboration across Britten's integrated team of engineers, project managers, production specialists, fabricators, print experts, finishers, designers, and installers. During an intensive five-week production surge from May 2026 through the first week of June 2026, Britten worked tirelessly to meet tournament deadlines while maintaining the quality, speed, and precision expected by some of the world's most recognized organizations.
The scale of production reflected the complexity of the event. Over the course of the FIFA program, Britten produced:
- More than 900,000 square feet of large-format graphics
- Over 200 custom scenic elements
- More than 40,000 linear feet of fabricated steel pipe for media wall structures
- 5,544 individual job line items shipped over a 10-month production schedule
Executing projects across North America required an equally ambitious logistics operation. Britten completed 94 installations directly related to FIFA World Cup 2026™, coordinated 26 dedicated international shipments to Mexico and Toronto, and dispatched 63 dedicated truckloads supporting tournament projects throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Britten's vertically integrated production model enabled projects to move efficiently from concept and engineering through fabrication, large-format graphics, logistics, and installation. By keeping every stage of production under one roof, the company delivered scalable solutions that gave agencies and brands the confidence to execute on one of the world's biggest stages.
"The best event fabrication often goes unnoticed because it allows the experience itself to take center stage," added Britten. "We're honored to have helped create environments that welcomed volunteers, engaged fans, elevated sponsor experiences, and supported one of the most celebrated sporting events in the world."
The FIFA World Cup 2026™ marks another milestone in Britten's longstanding partnership with leading agencies, event organizers, and global brands seeking a trusted experiential fabrication partner capable of delivering complex projects at any scale—from a single activation to multi-market event programs across North America and around the world.
