Youth athletes got another glimpse of adults behaving badly this weekend as the handshake line at the end of Pee Wee football game ended in a brawl.
According to Yahoo Sports, local police had to be called after a group of grown men, including coaches and parents, joined players in Wise County, Va. at a midfield handshake. Two of the men exchanged words, which escalated to pushing and shoving, eventually giving way to a brawl.

A video of the incident shows the fight forming, and the adults can be seen throwing punches while some of the kids tried to pull the men apart.
"It was pitiful to see the kids crying and scared — these are their coaches and mentors and guys they look up to," a parent told the local NBC affiliate. "I hope it all gets resolved and doesn't happen again."
Charges were not filed and none of the adults were arrested.
