Technogym founder and president Nerio Alessandri has big plans for his company. He was recently featured on Bloomberg TV's "Money Moves" segment, where he sat down with Deirdre Bolton to discuss the future of Technogym.

You can watch the entire interview here:

If you're unfamiliar with Alessandri's story, he started Technogym in his garage 30 years ago. Now it's one of the leading fitness manufacturers in the world and home to one of the most impressive corporate campuses you'll ever see.

"Health is wealth," Alessandri says in the interview. "We promote the wellness lifestyle. It's a lifestyle, at work, at holiday, in your free time, during 23 hours a day, not only one hour a day [when you're at the gym.]"

Also of note in the interview, Alessandri discusses Technogym's plan to revolutionize fitness by generating power through exercise. Alessandri says this will motivate people to exercise.

"One [reason] is to live well, the other is to improve the quality of life for the world."

As for what's next for Technogym? Alessandri wants to bring his company's "Wellness Concept" to New York.
