Athletic Business Media is excited to introduce Dennis Van Milligen as the new editor in chief of Athletic Business. Van Milligen joins the AB team after spending the last 15 years of his career in the B2B publishing industry, most notably as editor-in-chief of Processing magazine.
Prior to joining Athletic Business, Dennis served as the manager of publicity and media for DeanHouston, a B2B marketing communications firm in Cincinnati, OH.
For Van Milligen, a high school and collegiate athlete, his new role at Athletic Business combines two of his life's passions.
"I am thrilled to be joining such a great media brand and organization," Van Milligen says. "Having the opportunity to combine my passion for sports, fitness and recreation with my business media background is really exciting. I look forward to helping Athletic Business continue on its current path of success."
A graduate of Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill., Van Milligen resides in the Chicago area with his wife and two daughters. He has transitioned away from competitive long-distance running as he focuses on a blossoming recreational softball career.
