A parks and recreation department leader in Georgia is facing accusations of stealing from the county.

According to a report from WMAZ-TV, Matt Goins was arrested Friday in Jones County, Ga., on two counts of theft by taking: one felony count and one misdemeanor.

Goins is accused of taking items that he ordered for the county, which involves a trailer and tools, WMAZ-TV reported. The investigation started after the county’s accounting department raised questions about purchases.

Goins turned himself in and was released on $4,000 bond.

Officials told WMAZ-TV the investigation is ongoing and Goins could face further charges.

The county did not respond to WMAZ-TV’s inquiries about Goins’ job status, the station reported.
