The University of North Carolina is warning fans of potentially counterfeit tickets and parking passes for the Saturday's men's basketball game against Duke.
A post on the school's athletics website encourages fans purchasing tickets and parking to only purchase through UNC authorized sources, noting that the North Carolina Athletics Ticket Office, and SeatGeek are the only authorized sources for tickets to Carolina Athletics events.
North Carolina and Duke renew their rivalry for the 261st time when the Blue Devils travel to Chapel Hill on Saturday night, and tickets are sold out.
"Fans purchasing tickets and parking from unauthorized sources assume the risk, and tickets purchased could be counterfeit or the barcodes may have been invalidated," the post states.Â
The school notes that any fan attempting to enter Dean E. Smith Center with counterfeit or invalid barcodes will be denied entry.
