Periodically, The NFHS Voice will be presented in the form of video. This week, NFHS CEO Karissa Niehoff shares one of the key priorities of the new NFHS Strategic Plan, which will guide the work of the organization for the next four years. The NFHS will be implementing a new campaign titled “Protect the Purpose,” which highlights why education-based athletics and activities are so important in the lives of young people. She says unlike all other levels of sport in our nation, the No. 1 goal of high school sports is not winning games but helping students learn valuable lessons that prepare them for successful careers and lives.
