High School Lacrosse Coach Resigns Amid Investigation

A high school lacrosse coach in Massachusetts has resigned after allegations emerged of inappropriate communications with her players. 

According to a report from the USA Today, Milton High School girls lacrosse coach Katherine Phelan was dismissed during the state playoffs for having communications with her players that included:

The allegations were enough for Milton to launch an investigation into the matter. With the start of the investigation, the school took “immediate action by removing the coach from her duties.”
