Indiana football has cancelled its non-conference home-and-home series against Notre Dame, which was slated for the 2030 and 2031 seasons.

According to CBS Sports, Notre Dame and USC have announced that they have renewed their historic rivalry with a four-game series. On the flip side, the Fighting Irish and Hoosiers will no longer visit one another at the start of the next decade.

The Hoosiers now will not face any Power Four non-conference opponents, making theirs one of the weakest slated in the country.

The Hoosiers were set to travel to South Bend in 2030 for an Aug. 31 matchup at Notre Dame Stadium with a return trip to Bloomington scheduled for the following season on Sept. 27.
