Thanks to the three largest private donations in school history, Abilene Christian University created “Vision in Action,” a plan to transform its campus in a way it had not seen in more than 50 years. The new 12,000-seat NCAA Division I FCS football stadium includes a five-story press box, 10 luxury suites, a club room, home and visiting locker room facilities, restrooms and concessions.

Wildcat Stadium is designed to have a tremendous impact not only on the ACU student body and student-athletes but the greater community of Abilene. For decades, students, student-athletes and coaches alike have dreamed of an on-campus football stadium for the ACU Wildcats. The new stadium provides a focal point for a campus community known for its close-knit atmosphere and allows the school to host high school football games and band competitions.

Experiences ranging from homecoming to tailgate parties to concerts are enhanced, as coming home no longer means leaving campus for the traditional football game. Meanwhile, students can create new traditions as they celebrate the on-field successes of their classmates.
