COMMUNITY ASSET
The Moorhead Recreation Center was built in 1975, renovated in 1988, and after nearly 30 years was due for an upgrade. Previously, the city had only one rec center that had a gym, workout space and a pool. The Moorhead Rec Center unities all of those services into one facility, making the city's second full-service rec center a huge community asset.

POPULAR DESTINATION
The Moorhead Rec Center features a 25-meter lap pool, a zero-depth-entry leisure pool, a lazy river and a two-story, indoor/outdoor water slide. Swim lessons, aqua fitness classes and general recreation make the facility a popular destination for community members of all ages.
