Based on results of a capital costs analysis and an expense-and-revenue analysis, the Citynet Center at the Bridge Sports Complex was completed in 2021 as a premium gathering space for sports, recreation and wellness in North Central West Virginia.
The 156,000-square-foot complex includes state-ofthe-art competition and entertainment spaces, including an indoor turf field and a natatorium for competitive swimming. The facility is a regional destination for sports tournaments and events, as well as a local destination for health, wellness and family entertainment. The 18,000-square-foot natatorium was designed for swim meets and practices for the Mountain State Storm, the newest USA Swimming team in the West Virginia Local Swimming Committee.
The pools are designed with the latest mechanical systems technology, including regenerative media filtration systems and medium-pressure ultraviolet secondary sanitation systems. Each pool is filtered, chemically treated and heated separately, allowing multiple water temperatures to be provided within the same natatorium space.
