VERSATILTY

Versatility was the name of the game with the 25-yard-by-25-meter pool addition at the Alabama Aquatic Center, which allows the University of Alabama’s swim program to offer more versatility in training and more flexibility to host meets. The design team removed the roof over the existing 25-yard indoor pool and expanded it to its new size, which provided more depth and space to accommodate new springboards for diving.

NEED FOR SPEED

Long considered one of the nation’s fastest pools, the expansion and complete renovation of the Alabama Aquatic Center will bring the entire facility up to a championship standard. The project is aimed at enhancing the training and competition environment and giving the swimming and

diving programs everything they need to be successful at the highest levels.

Crimson Tide pride can be seen and felt at this new facility with the Alabama logo prominent on signage and customized starting platforms.
