The 22,570 square feet of water at the Elk Grove Aquatic Center provides a little something for every water lover.

This multi-award-winning facility, operated by the City of Elk Grove in partnership with the Cosumnes Community Services District, features Big Kahuna — a competition pool with 18 25-yard lanes and eight 50-yard lanes, and water depths that range from 3 feet 6 inches to 13 feet 3 inches to accommodate 1- and 3-meter diving. Treasure Island is a recreational pool featuring a zero-depth beach entry, six unique interactive water play features, a lazy river current channel, and a water slide receiving area with spacious stairs and two 28-foot water slides. Castaway Cove serves instruction and fitness needs with six 25-yard lanes, depths ranging from 3 feet 6 inches to 5 feet, and stairs that run the entire length of the pool.

The fun names continue with a closed-flume body slide called Coconut Cannon and an open-flume body slide called Jungle Falls.
