The City of DeSoto’s primary project objective was to revitalize and expand the aquatic amenities of a facility built in 2001. Additional objectives were replacing outdated restrooms and entrance structures. The solution involved renovating the existing pool and adding a second body of water with a current channel and a plunge pool that features a one-of-a-kind climbing wall. The result is a facility providing fun and adventure for all ages.

Renovations included replacing and upgrading play structures, refurbishing existing waterslides, repairing shade structures, and repairing and refinishing the decks to ensure visitors enjoyed the facility comfortably and in style. To enhance the overall guest experience, a user-friendly layout was designed with plenty of deck space, and the entrance was relocated to improve site circulation. New ramps, steps and retaining walls were used to take advantage of site topography to both separate and visually integrate old and new pools.
