The City of Jasper’s outdoor pool had been a summer staple since it was built in the 1950s, but it had aged into disrepair. The city decided to invest in a brand-new outdoor aquatics center with a variety of amenities to better serve the community. The new Jasper Municipal Pool made a big splash during its opening season, drawing record attendance and great reviews from visitors of all ages. They enjoy exciting features such as a zero-depth-entry pool, a splash area, a small lap pool, a Ninja course, three slides and a current loop. The expansive pool deck offers ample room for sunbathing, shaded areas for relaxing, and a picnic area. Supporting facilities include a bathhouse with public changing rooms and showers, and an administrative area with a ticket counter, concessions stand, offices and employee spaces. With its diverse offerings and overwhelming community support, the new Jasper Municipal Pool has quickly become a go-to destination for summer fun, and visitors already cannot wait for next year.
