Located along a primary circulation route to Husky Stadium, the multifunctional Legends Center adds to a festive game-day atmosphere. Open year-round, the facility’s interactive exhibits allow alumni to recall their glory years and celebrate both the history and future of University of Washington football.

Unlike the Center’s previous hard-to-find front door, the transformed two-story entry is prominent and welcoming, telling the story of the university’s athletic tradition in a dynamic, high-energy environment. The modern design features a custom terrazzo floor displaying a 225-square-foot “W” logo. Integrated graphics, audiovisual components, freestanding illuminated display cases and an undulating display wall with inset display units lead visitors through the experience. Maple millwork provides warmth, and a perforated maple ceiling highlights the entry volume and provides acoustical control.

As the new entry to the existing football offices, the Legends Center connects to both coaches’ offices and a comprehensive and innovative weight room. Integral to recruiting, the center hosts receptions and allows prospective student-athletes a glimpse of the university’s training amenities.
