Seton Hall’s Basketball Performance Center is a bold step forward for the university and its commitment to empowering collegiate athletes to thrive. The center is a three-story addition to the existing Richie Regan Recreation and Athletic Center that equips Seton Hall with one of the finest basketball facilities in the Big East Conference. The venue will bolster the school’s athletic recruitment and retention efforts amidst an increasingly competitive landscape.

The Basketball Performance Center offers dynamic amenities, including a new basketball court, a state-of-the-art strength and conditioning space, a film room, new coaches’ offices, a players’ lounge, a dining room, a steam room and sauna space, and more.

The design of the center creates a new image for the building as a raised porch overlooking Ivy Hill Park. Given the building’s location at the back edge of Seton Hall’s campus, the design works to announce its presence from afar. A cantilevered section of the building, inspired by the way that basketball players seemingly float above the rim, achieves this and shelters the corner entrance. Inside the building, photos of former Seton Hall basketball players and other statistical references to the program’s storied legacy further create an immersive experience for athletes.
