The Reynoldsburg Community Center YMCA provides the city with a state-of-the-art facility for a wide variety of community programs. Amenities include an indoor and outdoor aquatic center, a gymnasium, a mind-body studio, a fitness center, a jogging track, a child watch area, teen rooms and a youth adventure area. Outdoor areas include pickleball courts and play areas for summer camps.

The facility will house fitness programs, sports leagues, indoor and outdoor aquatics, day camps and youth programs. In addition, the facility houses a primary care center that synergizes with the project focus on community health and wellness. The overall program and design provide a holistic approach to community health, social engagement and youth development, as well as programs for the senior community.

The interior concept centers on the spirit of community and partnership. The heritage of the city is visually expressed through colors that represent the city’s notoriety as “the Birthplace of the Tomato,” and aid in wayfinding throughout the facility.

Exterior design incorporates a bold, sloping facade and roof structure with vertical windows and masonry piers. Second-story windows provide a generous amount of daylight in the entry lobby, as well as to the indoor track, weight room and meditative spaces, while a varying tint reduces glare.
