The state-of-the-art UFC Performance Institute serves as the world’s first mixed martial arts multidisciplinary research, innovation and performance center. The Performance Institute has a multimillion dollar annual operating budget and a team of experts in the fields of strength and conditioning, nutrition and physical therapy, with a focus to provide athletes with worldclass performance optimization services.

The facility is split into two levels: one focused on physical therapy, rehabilitation, nutrition, and strength and conditioning, and the other focused on combat sports. The first level features hot and cold plunge tubs, a physical therapy clinic, steam rooms and an indoor/outdoor track and turf area. The second level has a regulation-sized Octagon and boxing ring, as well as bag and mat areas.

The Performance Institute provides world-class services to all mixed martial artists who are competing under the UFC banner. All facility usage, services and catering is provided free of charge to the more than 550 athletes currently on the global brand’s roster. The entire active roster is given equal opportunities to utilize any of the facility’s services.

The Performance Institute represents a true world-class, high-performance destination. For this reason, it has been designed to facilitate not only the performance requirements of world-class mixed martial artists, but also athletes from other sports seeking to maximize human performance.
