Quick Look: New NCAA Recruiting Rules Explained

The NCAA has adopted new recruiting rules for NCAA DI schools that go into effect May 1, 2019. The new rules put limits on the communication between a recruit and a college coach before the end of their sophomore year of high school. These rules are designed to stop the growth of early recruiting and give student-athletes the opportunity to make a more informed decision on their college of choice.
