Identifying the Right Equipment to Create the 'Ultimate Pool'

Paddock Pool Equipment Company has been on a mission — a mission to manufacture highly crafted, American-made, commercial swimming pool equipment while supporting and helping to grow aquatics around the world. Paddock focuses on filtration, recirculation and indoor air quality products for the sole purpose of providing the safest, most sustainable and efficient aquatics facilities that enhance learn to swim, competition and leisure swimming activities. This mission drives our goal of helping to create the “Ultimate Pool.”

The Ultimate Pool starts with a great plan, which includes a solid design and design team, qualified builders and trades, along with the right pool equipment. This is where Paddock Pool Equipment comes in. Starting at the bottom of the pool, our stainless-steel main drains are easy to install, won’t collapse, can be encapsulated in a single pour of concrete, and have a lifetime warranty. We provide many options when it comes to our stainless-steel gutters to complete your recirculation system. Our full perimeter overflow system helps ensure more water is being efficiently filtered and sanitized. Our HDPE grating options allow one to customize the look and feel of the facility. For indoor natatoriums, the gutter is the best place to install the Paddock Evacuator® chloramine source capture system. It can’t be an ultimate pool if the air inside the facility contains corrosive chloramines which can deteriorate metal components of the building, as well as cause breathing and health issues for swimmers, lifeguards and patrons. Other options for the Evacuator include deck drain — or bench or wall units — that can go a long way toward upgrading an existing facility to an Ultimate Pool.

But the Evacuator isn’t the only critical component needed to provide good air quality. A properly designed dehumidification and air flow system are also necessary, as these systems keep fresh air in the breathing zone and allow for the Evacuator to remove the harmful chloramine-filled air.

Good air quality starts with good water quality. Well balanced and properly filtered water is an essential part of the Ultimate Pool. Paddock Pool Equipment has over 300 NSF-listed filter options, but the top of the line is the Paddock Regenerator, a regenerative media filter. These filters have a 40-year lifespan, a 15-year warranty, and maintain the best water quality with the smallest footprint in the mechanical room, while also using the least amount of water. A quality chemical control system from one of our partners will maintain the chemical balance of the pool’s water which saves on labor and chemical usage.

Top off your pool’s deck and keep swimmers safe with quality deck equipment from Paddock. We manufacture a full line of stainless-steel rails, ladders, lifeguard chairs and starting blocks. ADA compliance is essential. The ultimate pool is all inclusive and allows access for everyone. We also offer Aqua Creek handicap lifts to ensure anyone can enjoy the water.

Paddock believes so strongly in the Ultimate Pool that we host The Ultimate Pool Conference every other year, where we bring together industry experts for conversations about the state of the commercial pool industry and how we can all strive to develop and build the Ultimate Pool. So as you begin the process of building a new pool, or renovating an existing swimming facility, don’t settle for less than creating the Ultimate Pool, and be sure to reach out to Paddock Pool Equipment to help you achieve that goal.
