WSU Cougars Raise Parking, Tailgating Prices

Washington State University is overhauling its game-day parking and tailgating policies in a way that should bring in more revenue.

According to CougarCenter.com, parking for 2020 Cougar football games will no longer be included with season tickets, and various lots around campus will be tiered based on donor level and proximity to the stadium.

Under the new policy, season ticket holders can now purchase parking for all seven home games with their tickets. Prices for most will range between $140 to $175 for the 2020 season. The number of tickets you have and your donation level also determine how many additional passes you get the right to purchase with your tickets.

Tailgating will also see some changes. For those who drive RVs and are looking to tailgate, season permit costs are going up $175 for Lot 1, with the donation requirement more than doubling to $2,500 per year. The season passes for the remaining lots will increase $140 per year and the donations will go up $250 per year.

Ticket prices are slated to stay the same in 2020.
