THE Foundation, a collective serving the Ohio State University athletic department, saw its balance sheet balloon by $1 million last week, with members of Buckeye nation donating $500,000 and THE Foundation's board matching that figure. Boosting the Buckeye nation gifts was a contribution from former OSU and current Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, whose "platinum donor" donation fell somewhere between $50,000 and $100,000, according to Sports Illustrated.

Murray State University athletics has received a $1 million gift from Dairyman's Supply Company based in Mayfield, Ky., the school announced Wednesday. The gift, which comes on the heels of a record $1.25 million donation made by two individuals earlier in January, will be used to further enhance ongoing athletics renovations and enhancements, as well as future capital projects.

Rick Platt, a 1972 graduate of The College of William & Mary in Virginia, where he competed in three sports, has made a $2.3 million gift that help transform locker room facilities for the school's cross country and track and field programs, the college announced Wednesday. Turners Falls High School in Montague, Mass, has received a $2,500 donation from the Montegue Elks Lodge, boosting the school's efforts to provide afternoon snacks for athletes about to engage in practice or competition. A check was presented to school's Athletic Leadership Council on Monday, according to the Greenfield Recorder.

The Park City (Utah) Passing Leagueā€™s Digital Scoreboard Campaign raised more than its $200,000 goal to retire the original scoreboard on Dozier Field at Park City High School, the flag football group announced this week, as reported by the Park Record. The funds will facilitate the springtime installation of a state-of-the-art Daktronics digital scoreboard offering video capabilities, instant replay, athlete highlights and sponsor recognition, while serving the school's football, soccer, lacrosse, cheerleading and track programs, graduation and student assemblies, as well as youth leagues and camps. The campaignā€™s success also enables updates to the baseball field scoreboard, the group said.
