MORE ROOM
Liberty University was looking to expand its women's swimming and diving team and wanted to add to its aquatics program a men's swimming and diving team, as well as a water polo team. However, Liberty's current facilities were not adequate to allow it to do so. As a result, the university envisioned a new facility dedicated to growing the aquatics program and hosting larger-scale meets.

CHAMPIONSHIP HOST
The facility was designed with the intent of being able to host NCAA championship events, making it one of only a handful in the Mid-Atlantic region. The regenerative filter and evacuator system both conserve a significant amount of water (540,000 gallons annually) and dramatically improve air quality by removing chloramines from the air. In addition, a heat capture system was designed to allow heat from the mechanical systems to be used to heat the pools.
