The AB Show team is gearing up for another incredible event, bringing together the athletics, fitness and recreation industries through education, product exhibition and personal experiences. Each year, we strive to offer a trove of valuable resources for you to bring back to your colleagues and departments, and AB Show 2023 is no exception. Here’s a look at what’s to come Nov. 1-4, in Baltimore, Md.
New Faces
Earlier this year, we announced our new partnership and co-location with the Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education (AORE). AORE will have its own pavilion on the show floor, featuring the latest in outdoor recreation programming ideas and gear. The association also hosts three days of education, kicking off with an opening keynote on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Joining AORE among the many new faces in Baltimore will be the Salvation Army’s National Kroc Center Conference delegates. In addition to education programming and events, the organization has worked in conjunction with the Central Maryland Area Command to host a 5K run/walk, kettle kick-off, and human shield special event on Saturday, Nov. 4.
An Expo with Everything
The packed expo floor at AB Show 2023 will feature more than 200 exhibitors, showcasing everything you need to keep your facilities and programs relevant. Filled with the latest products and solutions, you can outfit your facility from floor to ceiling — or build a new one from the ground up. Pro-tip: beat the Thursday crowds and maximize your one-on-one time with exhibitors during Friday’s expo hours!
The Fun
See You in the Afterglow
We’re carrying the energy and excitement from the show floor straight to our re-imagined reception party for live entertainment, food and beverages, dancing and connecting with friends – old and new. This reception is included with all full-conference attendee registrants, exhibitors and speakers. Not registered as one of the above? You can add this onto your registration for $45.
Topgolf Social
We took our usual 18-hole golf outing and gave it a new look this year! The Topgolf Social is held on Wed., Nov. 1, from 7 to 10 p.m. Topgolf is a game that anyone can play and enjoy, even if you’re getting more holes-in-none than holes-in-one. Challenge your new and old AB Show friends and enjoy some light snacks and beverages. Don’t have clubs? No worries! Topgolf provides complimentary clubs (but you are more than welcome to bring your own).
Military Reception
As the preferred industry event for military members, AB Show is proud to welcome military attendees to the AB Military Reception. Free for registered military attendees, the reception is a chance for personnel from the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines to network and kick off their AB Show 2023 experience.
First Time at AB?
We welcome you to the AB family! Upon your arrival, be sure to stop by the First-Timer’s desk located near registration, where we will have a packet of information for you and be able to answer any questions. All first-timers are welcome to stop by for some breakfast on Thursday and Friday mornings before you tackle a day full of sessions and walking your way around the expo floor. The connections and interactions you will make during your time at AB Show 2023 are sure to leave their mark.
With three days of sessions taught by industry leaders and experts, an expo floor packed with exhibits from vendors who have the newest products that will take your facility to the next level, and a host of fun networking events, there is something for everyone at AB Show 2023.
