Driver Crashes Into Houston Community Pool

A driver in Houston, Texas, inadvertently took a swim over the weekend after he crashed his car into a community pool.

According to police, the accident happened around 3 a.m. on July 4 when the driver lost control of his car, crashed through a fence and landed in the Windchase Westwind North pool.

The driver fled the scene on foot but left behind a badly damaged pool, which will remain closed indefinitely.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and who is responsible.
