With the first game at the reimagined David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium seven months and one day away, the interior of the upgraded stadium is starting to come to life with detailed design and state-of-the-art seating.
The seating will feature the "K Flag" design in the north bowl of the stadium, with "Rock Chalk" proudly displayed throughout the view level of the west side of the stadium. The stadium will also boast multi-colored seats – blue, navy, red and white – to complement the new design.
The seating bowl won't just look different to Kansas fans, it will also feel different. Every seat on the north and west sides of the stadium will be seatbacks to aid in the comfort for fans taking in the action. Fans will also see a 50 percent increase in area per seat and leg room in all renovated sections of the stadium, adding comfort to the fan experience. In addition, suites will be 80 feet closer to the field and all seats on the west and north will be closer to the action than in the previous design. [KU Athletics]

Over the last 2.5 decades L Dale Mitchell park and the @OU_Baseball facilities have seen several upgrades. Things like the video board, the indoor training facility, practice infield, field turf and fan amenities. Those have been great and were good enough at the time.
