A man in Virginia is facing charges related to an unlawful-filming investigation at a recreation center, authorities said.

The Leesburg Police Department said 20-year-old Lester Galves Reyes, of Leesburg, was charged with one count of attempted unlawful creation of an image of another person and one count of disorderly conduct.

According to police, the charges stem from an incident at about 3:30 p.m. on June 11 at Ida Lee Recreation Center where a man reportedly filmed a woman under a shower divider. The report said Leesburg police officers detained Galves Reyes without incident.

Galves Reyes was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a $3,000 unsecured bond, police said.

Leesburg Police Department is continuing to investigate. Anyone who has information is asked to call investigators at 703-771-4500.
