Wilmington YMCA to Open Saturday

WILMINGTON -- The YMCA's new Midtown Y location will open Saturday, the YMCA said in a release.

The new location, at Temple Baptist Activity Center, 709 George Anderson Drive, will host a grand opening ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The facility will feature a host of activities, including weight rooms, exercise classes, pickle ball, basketball, soccer and lacrosse.

The Midtown Y also will provide after school and summer camps, a diabetes prevention program and a summer meals program, the release said.
