The red hot Milwaukee Brewers managed to finish a sweep of the New York Mets Sunday despite record rainfall that saw American Family Field's roof leak and the stadium's parking lots turned into lakes.
While the nearby Wisconsin State Fair was cancelled Sunday due to flooding, the Brewers proceeded with Sunday's game.
The team posted to social media that "approximately half of the parking lots are inaccessible to traffic and some access roads are close." The message went on to say that the stadium could not guarantee prepaid parking and that those who could not attend the game would get a credit to their account.
Images of the flooding around the stadium were dramatic, showing cars submerged in water.
Nevertheless, the Brewers still managed the team's seventh consecutive sold-out game, with an attendance of 42,461.
Radar estimates around Milwaukee show rainfall totals in Milwaukee over the weekend were as high as 10 to 11 inches.
