The SLI Concussion Checklist is a resource for parents, coaches, administrators, and athletic trainers that is designed to identify educational programs, tests, tools, and policies in 10 assessment areas that allow them to provide the safest possible environment for their athletes. Visitors can evaluate their program through a comprehensive 30 question test, with questions such as, "Does your program mandate concussion education for athletes?" Upon completion, visitors are offered customized links to strategies and resources that can help improve the safety of their programs. The majority of the resources are free and easily accessible. Programs and teams of all levels can benefit from the SLI Concussion Checklist, and SLI encourages parents in particular to use the tool annually to evaluate the safety of their child's program and advocate on behalf of their child to add as many components as possible.
