SAN DIEGO, April 16, 2014 – A partnership between the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and San Diego-based Troy Apps Software has turned the highly successful ACE Academy Elite interactive study guide for aspiring personal trainers into a native iPad app that caters to a new school of learners in a digital age.
ACE Academy Elite for iPad, developed using the Troy Apps Mobile Learning Tool platform, delivers an enhanced study experience using only one device. In addition to marrying new features including tap-and-expand graphics, tappable glossary terms and custom note organization, the app syncs all progress to the desktop version of ACE Academy Elite.

Candidates who utilize ACE Academy Elite throughout the entire study process reduce preparation time for the ACE Personal Trainer Certification exam to 12 weeks and pass the NCCA-accredited exam on their first attempt 87 percent of the time, according to data collected since the self-paced experience launched in July 2012.
