SAN DIEGO—September 3, 2014—Total Gym®, the world’s leading manufacturer of functional and bodyweight training equipment, has expanded its sales team with the addition of industry veteran, Michael Mellor as Commercial Sales Associate.
Mellor will work with fitness facilities looking to expand their functional training options and will assist facility owners and operators in identifying untapped resources and spaces to increase revenue and profitability with new Total Gym programming opportunities.
An East coast native, Mellor will cover the Northeast and Southeast regions, excluding Florida, as well as manage key account franchises such as Curves, Gold’s Gym, Planet Fitness, Power House Gym, Fitness Together, Women of America, World’s Gym, UFC, Crunch, Orange Theory and Personal Training Institute.
Previously, Mellor spent four years at Wellness Solutions Incorporated, where he was responsible for improving sales and developing emerging markets.
