New York, NY – January 5, 2015 - Technogym (www.technogym.com), a world leading company supplying products, services and solutions in wellness and fitness, is announcing an exciting new integration with Samsung’s Galaxy® Note 4 at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show 2015 from January 6th - 9th at the Samsung Electronics booth 11906 in Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. As a result of this collaboration, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users will be able to seamlessly communicate with and control Technogym equipment through Bluetooth® technology to measure and aggregate their workout data.
With this new integration, Samsung users can automatically connect their Galaxy Note 4 when they come close to a piece of Technogym cardiovascular equipment (e.g., treadmills) with the UNITY console - a display for cardio equipment that allows users to customize the information on Technogym cardio equipment, much like you customize the screen on your mobile devices.
After connecting, users will be able to access live data of their workout, monitored and measured by Technogym equipment. Because of Technogym’s existing open platform mywellness cloud, which stores users’ personal health and fitness data and boasts seamless connectivity with outside fitness applications, users with a Galaxy Note 4 device will be able to take advantage of this technology to monitor and boost their personal health regimens on their mobile devices. To further enhance the gym experience, Galaxy Note 4 users can directly control the resistance levels of the Technogym equipment through their phones, while working out.
