Madison, Wis., January 13, 2015 —Athletic Business Media Inc. is excited to announce that Stuart Goldman has been named editor of iClubs, the leading b2b media brand for independent health club owners and operators. Goldman, who will start Feb. 2, also will serve as a contributor to Athletic Business magazine.
Goldman spent eight years at Club Industry, including the last two as executive editor, covering all sectors of the health club industry. In 2011, he won the prestigious Jesse H. Neal Award and was a finalist for a Neal Award in 2013. He also has won four FOLIO: Eddie Awards and two ASBPE West Regional gold awards.
Prior to joining Club Industry, Goldman spent more than 10 years working in newspapers, including serving as a sports reporter for The Kansas City Star and sports editor of The Emporia (Kan.) Gazette, where he won numerous awards. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
