LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – Feb. 16, 2015 – SPRI Products, Inc., a leading distributor of rubberized resistance products and fitness accessories, is pleased to announce that it recently became an Associate Member of the Mid-Atlantic Club Management Association (MACMA). Founded in 1986, MACMA is a professional network of health and athletic clubs, fitness facilities and racquet clubs in Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, who work together, along with fitness industry vendors, to support the needs of the fitness industry in the region.
“We are excited to be a part of MACMA and to provide even more personalized service, along with our premium products, valuable educational content and experienced presenters,” said Pat Miles, director of sales at SPRI. “Joining MACMA reinforces our focus on exceeding the expectations of our core customer base of health clubs and fitness professionals.”
One of five regional trade associations of the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association (IHRSA), MACMA has approximately 80 Club Members and 35 Associate Members. The organization hosts an annual conference, provides affordable industry education, offers webinars, creates networking opportunities and serves as an advocate for legislation with state and local lawmakers. Members can benefit from opportunities for sponsorships, presentations, advertising and authoring articles.
SPRI has appointed Jonna Pento, Eastern regional sales manager, as its liaison to MACMA, and Pento will be personally visiting many MACMA-member facilities to better serve their needs.
