SHELTON, Connecticut – The FitLinxx AmpStripTM, a heart rate and activity monitor revolutionizing athletes’ ability to make better training decisions and improve performance, is receiving prominent industry awards in recognition of the company’s innovation. Months before its official launch, Engadget, the International Consumer Electronic Show and Stuff Magazine have honored the new wearable. Consumers are also showing enthusiasm, pledging more than $200,000 to the FitLinxx Indiegogo campaign to date – surpassing the original $50,000 goal in five days and still climbing with four weeks to go.
“We’re thrilled by all the excitement surrounding AmpStrip,” said Dave Monahan, president and CEO of FitLinxx. “There was a need in the marketplace for a heart rate and activity monitor that truly enhanced the wearers’ experience. AmpStrip offers a smarter, more discrete, more comfortable and more accurate solution so athletes can make better training decisions during each workout, when planning for the next workout and in evaluating fitness level over time.”
AmpStrip’s recent award honors include:

- Stuff Magazine’s Wearable Tech Award winner
