Bothell, WA—HaloSource Inc, parent company to the well-known SeaKlear brand of pool and spa water treatment products, is celebrating the 30th Birthday of its legendary SeaKlear Natural Clarifier, the product that set the standard for clariifying pool and hot tub water over the past 3 decades. SeaKlear kicked off the 30th Year Birthday Celebration on World Water Day, March 27th, 2015 at its newly expanded science-laboratory and technology center in Bothell, WA. The company will be hosting promotions and dealer events throughout 2015 to celebrate the monumental product anniversary.
-1985 was the initial product launch of the company’s first, chitin-based Natural Clarifier product. Made from the chitin removed from crab and shrimp shells recycled from local Seattle canneries, the first bottle of Natural Clarifier was brought to the swimming pool market after discovering its incredible ability to bind organic matter so it can be easily filtered by the swimming pool filtration system. SeaKlear Natural Clarifier was featured in the blockbuster films Titanic in 1998 and Pearl Harbor in 2001. It is also used at many zoos and aqauriums. The SeaKlear Natural Clarifier formula is continuously used in the newer SeaKlear clarifying products, including its 3-in-1 Free & Klear product and its revolutionary SeaKlear Weekly Care pod product, a toss-n-go, water-soluble product designed to simplify water care treatment of pool and spa water.
In addition to celebrating the 30th anniversary of SeaKlear Natural Clarifier, this product was also awarded the prestigious WQA NSF/ ANSI Standard 50 and NSF Standard 60 drinking water status, confirming the effective and natural benefits to consumers who use the product. Now facility managers, pool professionals and swimmers can rest assured their water is being kept clean and clear by a product that has been tested to the strictest standards.
