LOS GATOS, CA. -- April 1 , 2015 -- The Sports Arena Alliance (SAA) is a newly formed alliance group whose mission is to revitalize and enhance the indoor /outdoor sports arena industry. The SAA will provide joining members with new tools, science and reseach in support of a variety of sports, activites and events, and engage the general sporting public to promote the Alliance members’ sports arenas.
In addition, together with the Sports Arena Alliance, participating California-based sports arenas will host the first “State Cup Arena Soccer Event” on June 6 and 7, 2015. This is the first time Arena Soccer will be played in a State Cup format.
“Through our alliance, together we represent a significant market share of active sports and recreation minded people, “ said Jan Eric Nordmo, president of the Sports Arena Alliance. “The demographics of our combined members visiting Alliance Arenas offers an excellent opportunity for others to market their services and products,” he added.
The Sports Arena Alliance also provides a resource for coaches, athletes, parents, fans and others to help enhance their fitness, health, wellness, sport participation and more. Our holistic approach to sport is to include all that are a part of making a game an event. Education and understanding for all will help all enjoy.
The benefits for member sports arenas who join will greatly reap the benefits of improved services, products, programming and experiences. We also expect that SAA Partners in each facility will gain insight and valuable tools from their membership with the SAA. The SAA only provides its services and representation to established operations with at least 3 years of business experience.
ABOUT THE STATE CUP AREANA SOCCER EVENT
Registration opens April 1, 2015. Teams may qualify by finishing 1st or 2nd place at their home Alliance member facility leagues this past fall, winter and spring 2015. All age groups offered, U8 to U17, boys and girls. There are only a limited number of spots per age group. Age groups Final venues will be assigned across 7 arenas in Northern California; Santa Rosa, Alameda, Redwood City, Santa Clara, San Jose and Sacramento.
