(Feb 1, 2016) – Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) – the professional organization for 2,600 men and women who manage sports fields worldwide – announces its 2016 Board of Directors, including Jeffrey Salmond, Certified Sports Field Manager (CSFM) and Director of Athletic Fields for the University of Oklahoma, as its newly elected President.

The organization conducts its annual elections electronically in late November and the Board officially takes office during the Conference & Exhibition each January.
Next year’s event will be held in Orlando, Fla. Jan. 24-27, 2017. Additional future sites include Fort Worth, Texas (2018) and Phoenix, Ariz. (2019).
