Hilton Head Island, SC — Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) announced that it will hold a Women in Tennis Forum during the PTR International Tennis Symposium — February 12-15, on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The Forum will be on Thursday, February 14.
Sarah Stone will moderate a panel of experts, including former World #1 Gigi Fernandez, Andy Murray’s coach Judy Murray, Tennis Australia’s Emma Doyle and Leizel Huber’s coach Tony Huber. The forum is a collaborative effort to elevate women in tennis by creating awareness and attracting and progressing women to higher level positions in coaching, and as directors of tennis. This year’s Symposium boasts a record number of female presenters. Twenty-five percent of the 40 speakers are women.

In addition to the Symposium presentations, attendees can gain specialized education from the professional development courses including Gigi Fernandez doubles course – The Gigi Method, and Judy Murray’s Miss-Hits. Attendees can also play the PTR-UTR Championships.
