ST. LOUIS, MO (March 7, 2019) â€“ Color Art Sports has partnered with the University of Missouri - Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to manage the furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) of its new Memorial Stadium South Endzone Facility. A division of St. Louis-based Color Art, a interiors solutions provider, the Color Art Sports division focuses on large sports venues and stadium construction projects.

Color Art Sports will streamline and manage the FF&E process during the additions to The South End Zone Facility. These include a new locker room, coaches’ offices, and additional club and general seating. The facility will open prior to the 2019 season.

“Color Art Sports specializes in taking care of all the little things that are required for a stadium to come to life,” said Gary Arthur, Color Art Sports’ Senior Project Manager. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such a notable institution, especially one right here in our home state. Mizzou’s Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium is an important part of the community and the school’s experience. We’re excited to be involved.”

The construction manager on the project is The M.A. Mortenson Company, headquartered in Minneapolis, and the architect of record is Kansas City-based Populous. Color Art Sports coordinates and reviews the project layout documents involved to manage all the FF&E layouts including electrical, mechanical, and IT and alerts project teams of any conflicts. Gary Arthur is providing hands-on, high quality, on time, on budget services in project management, procurement, storage, move coordination, delivery, installation, management and close out of all the detachable goods with the project.

Features at The South Endzone facility at Memorial Stadium include an enhanced sports medicine facility featuring a Hydrotherapy area with recovery pools, Hyroworx and lap pools, a weight room, Tiger Fuel and equipment room, as well as the new locker rooms, team and position meeting rooms, and coaches offices. MUTigers.com reported, “When the new south end zone comes on-line at Faurot Field in 2019, it will feature 16 suites, a 750-person field-level club, a 1,254-seat indoor club area with food service and restrooms and general seating for 1,324 approximately fans.”

“We are excited to work with Gary Arthur at Color Art Sports because of his obvious knowledge and expertise in the sports construction industry,” said Tim Hickman, University of Missouri Deputy Athletics Director. “He will be an enormous help, making sure we stay on time and on budget. We look forward to this guidance!”
