Eleiko Expands U.S. Product Portfolio to Better Serve Customers, Introduces Athletica and Evo

Eleiko is pleased to present several new products at IHRSA (Booth 2547) which further our mission of making strength training more inviting and approachable while helping facilities meet the changing landscape of fitness head on with comprehensive free weight solutions. The new pieces in our free weight portfolio are the Evo Dumbbell Collection which includes an innovative rotating handle design and Atletica, a deluxe free weight collection for fitness and performance training facilities.

Evo

In creating Evo we applied our six decades of expertise in barbell and bumper plate design, paying particular attention to all the details we know can help set a facility apart and address operator concerns. We emphasized durability and incorporated patent pending innovation in the handle design, added features to promote user comfort and safety, and verified its performance with thorough testing.

Eleiko barbell steel is used for the handles and we apply our knurling expertise for a secure grip that delivers our signature “Eleiko Feeling.” Evo is designed with a solid steel head surrounded in a proprietary molded polyurethane for a seamless secure fit that protects floor from drops and is highly wear resistant. In the Evo Collection, we present both rotating and fixed handle options, and we do it with a smaller, easier to grip handle appropriate for more members and more uses.

Evo equips trainers with a refined dumbbell that supports client’s varying goals and performance training needs. Using high quality high performance training equipment and providing an elevated experience are effective and important ways to keep members and clients engaged, regardless of age or fitness experience. Atletica

In designing the Atletica line, we went back to the drawing board to reimagine a free weight space and designed a luxurious collection of free weight pieces for facilities looking to elevate their free weight areas creating inviting sophisticated high-performance training spaces.

Atletica features elements facilities and their members will appreciate. The styling is appealing, inviting and approachable, an important factor for facilities looking to cater to today’s member and their changing expectations around strength and performance training.

Proudly made in Sweden, the pieces are timeless and transcend expectations for traditional free weight areas. Reliability, safety and our enduring commitment to creating fantastic lifting experiences were at the forefront of the development process. Atletica is incredibly durable, designed to minimise maintenance needs. From high quality materials and quality components to details such as protective surfaces and a new cushion manufacturing process, we have taken every step to ensure Atletica has low maintenance needs and will show minimal signs of wear.

Atletica includes a half rack and smith machine along with a collection of benches and weight storage, essential pieces of any free weight performance area and a perfect complement to Eleiko’s collection of bars, plates, platforms and dumbbells. The Atletica Half Rack integrates seamlessly with the Eleiko SVR Insert Platform to further enhance the lifting experience and support facilities in bringing performance training to their member and clients.
