April 10, TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Capstone Agency, The University of Alabama’s student-run communications firm, has taken on UA’s Adapted Athletics as a new client.
“We are so excited to add a sports client and work with a championship-caliber program from our university,” said Hudson Nuckolls, firm director. “This is a proud moment for our agency.”
Adapted Athletics recently won national championships in both women’s and men’s wheelchair basketball. This was the sixth national championship for the women’s team, and the men’s team won for the second year in a row. This was the first time both the men and women’s Alabama Adapted Athletics basketball teams won national titles in the same year.
The Adapted Athletics tennis team also won four national championships with its most recent win in 2018.
Capstone Agency is currently recognized as the Best Student-Run Firm by the Public Relations Student Society of America and has 129 members.
The agency has seven other clients that include Alabama Power, EcoCAR, Alabama Higher Education
Partnership and The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations.
