New Agreement Makes UCLA Health the First Medical Partner of STAPLES Center and an Official Partner of L.A. LIVE and Select AEG Presents Music Festivals and Events Across Southern California
LOS ANGELES – August 27, 2019 – UCLA Health and AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, have launched a partnership across several of AEG’s most prominent sports and entertainment assets. The agreement, brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, establishes UCLA Health as a Founding Partner and first Medical Partner of STAPLES Center and an official partner of L.A. LIVE, the Amgen Tour of California, and several AEG Presents music festivals and events. The partnership provides UCLA Health access to diverse audiences across AEG venues, professional sporting events and concerts, deepening its ties to the Southern California community it serves and further extending its brand beyond the region.

UCLA Health will receive in-arena static signage and digital signage exposure during all LA Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and LA Sparks home games. UCLA Health will also enjoy premium outdoor signage around STAPLES Center via rotational exposure of the arena’s 110 and 10 freeway marquees where other Founding Partners are recognized. Additionally, UCLA Health will engage fans through brand-tailored, interactive activations on the venue’s main concourse during all publicly ticketed events.
As an official partner of L.A. LIVE, the 4 million square foot downtown Los Angeles sports and entertainment district, UCLA Health will receive innovative digital signage along with simultaneous full-motion video and audio spots on the nine LED boards located at XBOX Plaza, a 40,000 square foot open-air plaza. UCLA Health will also receive strategic outdoor digital signage located at L.A. LIVE’s prestigious JW Marriot hotel. Additionally, as an official partner of select AEG Presents festivals, UCLA Health will utilize on-site activations and digital reminders to engage fans and share ways to enhance their overall health and wellness both at the events and beyond.
