MINNEAPOLIS —October 22, 2019— Brought in to create platforms and guardrails for a new VIP seating area at Petco Park in San Diego, Staging Concepts, the industry leader in staging equipment is celebrating a successful season of supporting baseball fans and eventgoers in style.
Part of a multi-year, multi-faceted series of planned upgrades at Petco Park, Staging Concepts was enlisted to help renovate a luxury box for distinguished visitors. Custom platform infills were engineered to create larger tiers to pamper VIP guests with more comfort and convenience. The new platforms feature acrylic guardrails with anodized aluminum for a high-end, aesthetically pleasing look. The guardrails also support TV screens for added viewing convenience and an enhanced overall experience.
Since completing the upgrades, the stadium has hosted nearly 80 home games of the resident San Diego Padres, along with hundreds of special events ranging from the 50th annual Comic-Con San Diego to a sold-out concert by Sir Paul McCartney. The luxury VIP box is holding up beautifully and looks as good today as it did when it was first installed.
This is the second high-profile project Staging Concepts has completed at Petco Park. The staging experts also designed the custom concert stage featured at Park at the Park, located just outside the stadium.
