ACE has partnered with the Personal Trainer Development Center on timely education that prepares exercise professionals to create and manage an online personal training business
San Diego, Calif., April 14, 2021 – American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the Personal Trainer Development Center have partnered on a new course that provides exercise professionals a complete educational program to build and grow an online personal training business. The new course, Online Trainer Academy, is created and led by Personal Trainer Development Center and provides a timely solution to the growing demand for virtual personal training services.

Data shows that after a year of spending many hours inside with many people being less physically active than prior to COVID-19, there is a surge of people returning or beginning new physical activity regiments. Virtual personal training services are an ideal solution to reach people who have traditionally never considered working with an exercise professional or who may not be comfortable or interested in returning to a traditional gym.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that employment opportunities for exercise professionals is projected to grow 15 percent from 2019 to 2029, much faster than the average for all occupations.
